Greg Wendt, CFP - Co-Founder & Partner at Living Economy Advisors

Greg is considered a leading experts in Sustainable Responsible and Impact Investing. He currently leads the west coast effort for Stakeholders Capital as well as being the Co-Founder of Living Economy Advisors. As a Certified Financial Planner and private wealth advisor Greg acts as fiduciary advisor to investors and families of wealth.

 

Since 1991 Greg has worked as a financial advisor, economist and Certified Financial Planner. He enjoys serving families to align their wealth through investments that reflect their priorities and concerns for a better world and after a career building his expertise at Smith Barney, Dabney/Reznick (now Imperial Capital), UBS, Prudential Securities and EP Wealth Advisors, Greg co-founded Living Economy Advisors in 2015 to create whole systems solutions for institutional investors, entrepreneur ecosystems and regional economies. Greg also founded two non-profits Green Business Networking and Green Economy Think Tank.

 

Greg, along with his partners, is consulting with EnviroDynamix on architecting novel financial intermediation strategies to create whole systems solutions. His methodology applies eco-systemic biomimicry to developing new funding models which meet the needs of the investor and set 'living economy' projects up for success and scale. Greg works with a wide range of financial intermediaries, investors, think tanks, NGO's, various government and public policy leaders to inspire novel solutions that increase the flow of capital to Sustainable infrastructure, underserved businesses, regenerative agriculture, renewable energy and clean technology.

Since I first discovered the notion of sustainable development in the late 80's I've been passionate about applying my gifts in fields of economics, business and sustainable and responsible investing. As Senior Wealth Advisor I currently head the west coast effort of StakeHolders Capital, a boutique registered investment advisory firm specializing in Impact Investing and Wealth Management.  

Greg is a steering committee member of the California Economic Summit and co-chair the Capital Action Team and a member of California Financial Opportunities Roundtable, a select group of experts convened by the San Francisco Fed and the Obama Administration to increase Impact Investing in California. 

He contributed to the book "Creating Good Work: The World's Leading Social Entrepreneurs Show How to Build a Healthy Economy"​, speaks regularly at conferences and has appeared on "Business Rockstars" on KFWB Radio, “Living with Ed” on HGTV and in print; Business Ethics, Financial Planning, LA Times, and Variety.
